European Polytechnical University Library

The European Polytechnical University library forms builds, maintains and systematizes information resource, whose mission is to:

  • Promote research and academic activities of the lecturers, current and prospective students;
  • Meet current educational and information needs during the learning process in all academic program offered at the University.

The library has a collection of 13,878 library items, including:

  • Books – 12,973 library units;
  • Periodicals – 505 library units.

The bookstore is organized in two funds:

  • Fund Reading – books that are used in the library
  • Reference Fund – books that can be borrowed for use outside the library.

The university as a part of Multiversity shares the following library funds: 

  • Main Library
    The Main Library is situated in the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria La Nova and has a reading room with about 12.000 volumes that can be freely consulted.
    The Library is open to the public on the days and hours in which there are didactic activities.

  • Libraries with a convention
    Distributed throughout the territory, they are libraries with which the University has signed a specific convention in the area of a communal, promotional project of cultural and educational activities such as the organization of events and academic initiatives, presentations, seminars, exhibitions and workshops as well as the ordinary consultation activities.
  • The Libraries with a convention have an overall of about a million volumes.

  • Digital Library
    The virtual library, pursues the objective to integrate the traditional criteria of filing and documentation with the new information technology to supply to all its students the best resources in order to increase the distribution quality of the services and to consent the e-learning consultation of the volumes through a multiplicity of multimedia supports such as e-books and websites.
